At least one of my subjects could stand still!
Earlier that morning we had signed Reid up for the Craig Ranch Easter egg hunt. We thought we'd be smart and be first in line for pictures with the Easter bunny, but then by the time we got over to the egg hunt, the eggs were mostly gone. We tried to hurry him to get one egg, but he was delighted to find a mini bouncy ball and was quite satisfied with just that.
No one seemed to mind if we hunted with the next older group (and other kids were participating with older siblings), so Reid watched the other kids and figured out what he was doing. He got three eggs, but was way more excited about the pencils he got and even shared one with a friend.
On Thursday, our playgroup had our Easter egg hunt. All the kids were so cute, dressed up in their little Easter outfits and decked out baskets. They all "got it" a lot more this year...everyone was happy to go pick up eggs (although Reid wanted to dump them out over and over again, so I finally just had to put our basket away) and cooperate with each other. Reid did get territorial playing with Adeleine's Cozy Coupe car (repeat of Jake's birthday party in March!), so Grandma Penny bought him one that should arrive this week. He will be soooo excited!
And we couldn't let Reid go to Easter Sunday service this morning without being properly dressed, so here is his first little suit.
...which was even more fun halfway off!
